Individual, 50-minute psychotherapy sessions are $210. Couples and Family sessions are $275. We maintain a limited number of reduced fee slots for individuals only. Please inquire about availability if you believe you may qualify. Currently, all reduced fee slots are filled.

Our psychotherapy session fees are comparable to specialist psychotherapists in my areas of expertise, level of training, experience, and education. The fee includes treatment planning and paperwork, trainings, and other tasks essential to providing high-quality care service.

Mood Psychotherapy is not paneled with insurance companies. You might check in with your insurance company for their rate of reimbursement for out-patient mental health services with an out-of-network provider (OON). You can request Superbills for direct reimbursement on a monthly basis with which you can pursue direct reimbursement. The session fee is due at the time of service. Regardless, you may pay for session with an HSA or FSA card kept on file.

Our cancellation policy requires 24 hours notice before your scheduled appointment if you are unable to make the session for any reason. Appointments canceled in less than 24 hours will be charged the standard session fee. If in-person and you are ill, we have the option of moving to telehealth rather than cancelling.

Ash Compton offer Telehealth in both Texas and Connecticut. Years of the pandemic offered additional boots-on-ground training and extra consultation around administering EMDR over telehealth. EMDR studies completed since 2020 cite its equivalent efficacy to in-person administration.

While some might prefer the contact of in-person work, and we love the option of welcoming you to our comforting, modern office; Telehealth has been a flexible and effective option and we are pleased to continue providing it.
